Dr. Ron Sipus

-Head of Schools-

Dr. Sipus comes to CVCS as an accomplished leader in Christian education. He began his career as a high school teacher and coach, and has also served as a high school athletic director, dean of students and principal in Arizona. He eventually progressed to the role of Superintendent in both the private and public sector in Arizona. After relocating to Southern California, Dr. Sipus returned to Christian education as a Superintendent for a K-12 private Christian school with a thriving enrollment of 1,950 students where he served for over 18 years.

Dr. Sipus received his undergraduate degree from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona, graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Secondary Education and Biology. He received his Master’s Degree in Secondary Health Science from Arizona State University, and his Ph.D. in Higher and Adult Education from Arizona State University.

Dr. Sipus serves as an accreditation team member for the Association of Christian Schools International and is Vice-President of the Spalding Education Foundation. Dr. Terry A. Gaunt

-Junior High & High School Principal-

Dr. Gaunt has earned a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education from Southern California College, a Master of Arts in Education from United States International University and a Doctorate in Education from La Salle University. He currently holds a California State Single Subject Teaching Credential and a Lifetime Certification from the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).

Dr. Gaunt has been a part of the CVCS family since 1987. He has served as a High School Science Teacher, Athletic Director, ASB Advisor, Science Department Chair and most recently as High School Principal. He has also been involved with the students as a Head Baseball Coach, Retreat Coordinator and currently heads up the Russia Missions Trip.

Mrs. Linda Hannum

-Elementary School Principal-

Graduated from California State Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo, with a Bachelor of Science in Child Development, Mrs. Hannum received her California State Teaching Credential K-9 from California State Polytechnic University and it is honored as Lifetime.  Mrs. Hannum has a Master’s Degree from National University concentrating on Educational Administration.  She has been in the classroom for over 11+ years teaching preschool and elementary school grades and in administration experience she has been active over 10+ years in K-5th Grades and K-8th Grades.

She is a sixth generation Californian born and raised in Oakland, California. She is proud to be a third generation teacher/administrator from her family.   Her hobbies include quilting, heirloom sewing, and reading.  She currently attends Temecula Hills Christian Fellowship in Temecula.  She has two wonderful grown sons and three granddaughters.  She is currently living in Temecula with her husband, Thomas, of 37 years.  Email Mrs. Linda Hannum
