Dr. Baker joined CVCS as Head of Schools in 2005, following a distinguished career in education. He has experience as a classroom teacher, has been a principal at three different schools, and has been a senior administrator in two large school districts, including Saddleback Valley Unified. Most recently, Dr. Baker served as Deputy Superintendent in the Azusa Unified School District, where he was personally responsible for all faculty recruitment and programs for their continuing professional development in a school district with nearly 600 teachers serving 12,000 students.
Dr. Baker holds a doctorate degree in Educational Leadership from the University of La Verne, a Master of Science degree in School Administration from California State University, Fullerton, and a
Bachelor's degree from Chapman College.
