Established in 1973, Capistrano Valley Christian Schools (CVCS) is dedicated to providing a high standard of college preparatory education set within the framework of Christian instruction and example.

The phrase “educational excellence in a Christ-centered environment” is an apt description of how CVCS provides students from JK - 12 with a rigorous program of academics, athletics, and performing and fine arts taught from a Christian perspective. This is accomplished by encouraging students and teachers to understand themselves and the world around them from a Christian worldview. The school employs teachers and administrators who serve as role models for students and mentor the students academically, physically, psychologically, socially, and spiritually. Much of this is formal through regular classes in specific grades and subjects, through chapel, Bible classes and studies, counseling, retreats and through the daily interaction among the students, faculty, staff and parents.

Over the past 31 years, CVCS has grown into a school of over 600 students, has added classrooms and other facilities, and most recently has completed renovations to several resources including the Worship Center, the Media Center, the playground, and has improved traffic flow through the campus. A master site plan is under review and plans for the future growth and development of CVCS are in process.
