Capistrano Valley Christian Schools exists to foster the development of:
- Students know Christ as their personal Savior.

- Students are prepared for higher education and life-long learning.
- Students are well-prepared in all academic disciplines and are measurably skilled in writing, speaking, listening, and thinking.
- Students are measurably proficient (defined as SAT-10 scores in the top 10 percent of published nationwide results) in mathematics, science, and reading.
- Students demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of people, events, movements in history (including church history,) and the cultures of other people and places.
- Students demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of literature, the performing and visual arts, and how these express and shape their beliefs and values.
- Students demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of languages and cultures of other people, dispelling prejudice, promoting inter-ethnic harmony, and encouraging Biblical hospitality for the “alien” and “stranger."
- Students understand the difference between knowledge and Biblical truth.
- Students are critical thinkers.
- Students treat their bodies as belonging to God.
- Students value the need for physical activity and nutritional health.
- Students model Christian character, conduct, accountability, and service.
- Students demonstrate a Christ-like attitude towards sportsmanship and competition.
