Capistrano Valley Christian High Schools is a co-ed, college preparatory non-profit Christian school that was founded in 1973. Admission to the school is on the basis of entrance test scores, personal interview, recommendations, and previous school records.

Daily Schedule
Rotating block schedule with each class meeting at least three times per week. Classes begin at 7:45 am each day.
Graduation Requirements
Students who attend Capistrano Valley Christian Schools for four years (9-12 grades) must accumulate a minimum of 230 semester units as outlines below. 10 units are earned for each year long course and 5 units for each semester course passed with a D grade or better.

Chapel Program
Each week throughout the school year, all High School students attend Chapel and are challenged to grow in their faith and service.
High School Retreat
Each fall, all High School students are invited to attend a three-day, off site retreat to fellowship with other students, be challenged to grow in their faith and knowledge of Jesus Christ and to prepare for the balance of the school year. This retreat typically takes place during the first week of October.
Athletics
Capistrano Valley Christian High School is a member of the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Southern Section and the Academy League. Brethren Christian, St. Margaret’s, Sage Hill, Oxford Academy and Whitney high schools are the five other members of the Academy League.
