Academic Program

Our academic program is fully accredited and aligned with California State Standards. At the Junior High and High School levels, students are given the opportunity to take accelerated honors courses according to their academic ability. Currently in junior high we offer English and Algebra Honors courses. They are rigorous and approved by the UC College Board.

Mentorship Program

This opportunity creates small groups designed to train students to be leaders and to integrate students’ academic, spiritual, and social lives through the medium of healthy peer communities and meaningful, consistent relationships with a faculty mentor.

Chapel Program

Students participate in weekly chapels. Chapels are configured by grade levels to target age appropriate worship. Grades 7-8 have chapel times together on a weekly basis.

Athletics

Our Junior High school is a member of the Parochial Athletic League (PAL). Boys and Girls sports are offered to students in grades fifth through eighth. Fall sports include boys’ flag football and girls’ volleyball. Basketball is offered to boys and girls in the winter and soccer is offered in the spring.

Missions-Outreach Programs

At least twice a year our 7 and 8th grade students participate in off campus service project opportunities that benefit those in and around our local community and beyond. These projects have included, but are not limited to, Park, City andBeach Clean-up; assist local food pantries in organization and preparation; and a Mission Trip to the Los Angeles Mission to provide ministry service and assistance to the homeless. A 3-day Retreat is held in the local mountain area for the entire Junior High and Staff every year that focuses on Spiritual growth and unity.
