CVCS Dining Account Program

 

The Kitchen at CVCS offers a mix of restaurant quality food with local vendors to meet the lunch needs of our students and staff.  The rotating daily lunch menu includes homemade soups, sandwiches, grilled items, salads, pizza, homemade desserts and more.  In addition, The Kitchen is open during Junior High and High School morning nutrition break where a variety of homemade breakfasts, pastries, and beverages are available for purchase. If you’re ever running late, swing by The Kitchen for an early morning coffee or on-the-go convenience breakfast offerings.

 

Capistrano Valley Christian Schools’ The Kitchen provides a cashless payment system to expedite food purchases at school and to help busy families monitor and manage their student’s food activity. A personal dining account is a secure and convenient way for students to pre-order lunches and purchase food and beverages on campus without having to use cash. The system uses a pin pad where the student enters his/her ID number, which then debits their established online dining account.

 

Getting Started

Food accounts must be created through the website www.myschoolaccount.com where deposits to the accounts can be made online by check or credit card from home, or by check or cash in-person at The Kitchen window. Each time the account is used, the transaction amount will be deducted from the balance.  This service offers many benefits including; online prepayments, pre-ordering lunches,   viewing your child’s purchase history, and the ability to set email alerts to notify you when your child’s balance is low.

 

Elementary School

Elementary school students must pre-order lunches to receive the advertised featured lunches, therefore, an account needs to be established.  Same day lunch requests will be available but will consist of alternate entrees. Milk, beverages, and specialty items may be purchased with cash.

 

All food and beverage items must be paid for at the time of purchase.

 

Junior High and High School

Junior High and High School students are encouraged to pre-order their lunches. However, there is a Same Day Board in the main concourse which allows students to sign up on for lunch that day.  There is a $1.00 fee for this service.  JH and HS students have a morning nutrition break where breakfast burritos, other breakfast sandwiches, pancakes, french toast, homemade muffins, scones, cinnamon rolls, and an array of beverages are sold. The JH and HS students may use their food account or cash to purchase food.

 

All food and beverage items must be paid for at the time of purchase

 

General Terms and Conditions for The Kitchen at CVCS

 An active CVCS MySchoolAccount may only be used to purchase food and beverages from The Kitchen. Accounts are registered in the student’s name and are for personal food use only. Account balances are not redeemable for cash and available funds will not expire. At the end of the year, remaining balances will be rolled over into the next school year. If you have a refund request, please direct inquiries to the CVCS Business Office.

 

Cancellations of pre-ordered lunches due may be made the same day by 8:30 am by emailing Mr. Baird at bbaird@cvcs.org or calling 949.493.5683 ext 112. Please call or email Mr. Baird for other questions or concerns you may have.
