Welcome to the Capistrano Valley Christian Schools Website. We are glad you took the opportunity to learn more about our school. My name is Tessa Samuelsen and I am the Elementary Principal at CVCS. I am passionate about education and serving the Lord Jesus Christ. I have been in education for fourteen years. I have taught both fifth and third grade at the elementary level and Jr. High English and Language Arts. I have also served as an Elementary Principal and Curriculum Coordinator in the State of Illinois. I am so excited to be here at Capistrano Valley Christian Elementary School and be a part of the amazing plan God has for the students, staff and families that attend here. Together with a highly qualified staff we aim to provide educational excellence in a Christ-centered environment. Our vision is to be recognized for developing leaders prepared to impact our world for Christ through effective academic and educational practices based on a Biblical worldview. Again thank you for visiting the CVCS website and please let me know if I can help in anyway to answer questions you may have. In His Love, Tessa Samuelsen Elementary Principal

We are focusing on love, everything from Christ’s love to the love of reading. Like all other months, February is filled with new events, learning and possibilities.
