Chapel & Missions

At CVCS, we strive to graduate students who are impacting the world for Christ.  Our goal is that our students will love the Lord with all of their hearts, minds and souls; and that they will know Christ as their personal Savior.  With that knowledge, our students will develop and use their God-given gifts and abilities in daily life.  We hope that students evidence the fruits of the Spirit in developmentally appropriate ways and that they will intellectually defend their faith. Students should possess and be able to articulate a biblical worldview and know, understand and apply God’s Word in daily life. From this head and heart knowledge, students will effectively share their faith with others and understand that their choices and actions have eternal consequences for both themselves and others.

Each week throughout the school year, all CVCS students attend Chapel and are challenged to grow in their faith and service.  Chapels are configured by grade levels to target age appropriate worship and speakers. Read some student testimonials about our chapel program.

Each year, our students are invited to attend our 6th grade, Junior High, and High School off-site retreats to fellowship with other students, be challenged to grow in their faith and knowledge of Jesus Christ and to prepare for the balance of the school year.

All of our students are encouraged to participate in regular community service and missions trips.  CVCS provides local missions opportunities, as well as trips to Mexico and Russia.  The Russia Mission Trip occurs biennially and is open to our Junior and Senior students. Students spend two weeks serving at orphanages and ministering to the community of Vladimir, Russia. The entire school participates by collecting supplies to take to the orphanages.
