“Expelled” calls attention to the plight of highly credentialed scholars who have been forced out of prestigious academic positions because they proposed Intelligent Design as a possible alternative to Charles Darwin’s 150-year-old theories about the origins of life. Instead of entertaining a debate on the merits of competing theories, the scientific establishment has moved to suppress the ID movement in a “systematic and ruthless” way at odds with America’s founding principles, the film asserts.

For the second year in a row CVCS has been chosen for recognition for an Exemplary School Program Award from ACSI. This year’s recognition is for our Performing Arts Program. Last year we received recognition for our International Student Program. To receive this type of award two year’s in a row is certainly worthy of special note. There are schools who never receive this type of recognition. CVCS is receiving this award because the lives of students are being significantly impacted-the very reason God has called each of us to serve Him in Christian schooling. Jo Beveridge and Heather McLean deserve all the credit for the program they have put together. Praise God from whom all blessings flow!
