Student life at CVCS Junior High incorporates many activities that encourage student involvement. Students take part in spirit week and pep assemblies with our High School to promote school spirit and prepare for our Varsity Homecoming Game. Our annual Junior High retreat is always well-attended along with our eighth grade trip to Washington DC. Students are provided leadership opportunities through ASB and CJSF reaching out into our local community with various service projects.
Our Performing Arts Program is highly regarded. Students prepare and perform annual musical theater productions. Our Dickens Carolers choir ensemble performs every Christmas on the radio, at local churches, and various venues in the community.
Our athletic teams participate in an interscholastic sports program through the Parochial Athletic League of Orange County. Girls' teams include volleyball, basketball, soccer, and softball. Boys are able to participate in flag football, basketball, volleyball, and softball. CVCS recognizes an outstanding male and female athlete of the year each spring.
The Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) provides our students with regional competitions in Mathematics, Science, Speech and Spelling each year. Student participation is encouraged and CVCS students have experienced great success in these competitions.
