SHINE (Serving Him in Noble Endeavors) is our exciting and entertaining annual dinner auction, that provides the opportunity to celebrate our success and to raise additional funds for Capistrano Valley Christian Schools. The SHINE Auction is held each year in March.

The auction proceeds help fund  facility improvements and equipment purchases.  We are so blessed to have so many volunteers participating in the organization of the auction each year.  The 2007 SHINE auction raised more than $115,000.00 that was used for many of the improvements we made to the facility last summer including the artificial turf field, playground improvements, new lighting in the gym, golf cart for maintaining the field, faculty laptops, mounted and portable projectors, and classroom improvements.  We anticipate similar success from the 2008 SHINE auction, Spirit of the Islands.  Some of the goals for the coming year include a new gym floor, resurfacing the playground, new laptops for faculty, additional projectors and classroom equipment, and improvements to the network computer system.  We want to thank the auction committee for the sacrificial offering of time, talent, and energy it takes to put a successful auction together.
