Sophia Oh grew up in Orange County, California. She attended California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, where she studied English with an emphasis in Literary Studies. From an early age, she developed a passion for serving others through her church, Crossway Community Church, and has faithfully served in the children's ministry for several years. Her passion for mentoring and encouraging young people led Ms. Oh to pursue a career in education. She later earned her Single Subject English Credential from California State University, Fullerton. Ms. Oh has taught middle school English for two years, and she is excited to continue helping students grow as readers, writers, and critical thinkers at CVCS.

In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading, and trying new coffee shops with her friends and family.
