Mrs. Kaitlynn Mintz graduated from the University of Oregon with a B.A. in English Literature and Creative Writing. Since starting her career in education, she has spent five years teaching in both public and private school settings across grades K–12, with a primary focus on secondary English Language Arts.

Outside the classroom, Mrs. Mintz has served as a cheerleading instructor with Varsity Spirit since 2017—working as a mentor, choreographer, and coach for student-athletes nationwide. Her work with Varsity Spirit also extends to social media, marketing, and content creation as a published author with Varsity TV, alongside serving as a competition judge at the regional and national levels. Deeply committed to community service, she actively volunteers with the Junior League of Orange County to support and empower local women and children.

Mrs. Mintz is married to a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, and together they have lived in Oregon, California, and Florida.
