Originally from Toronto, Canada, Miranda Baird attended York University where she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and Sociology. She went on to become a certified rehabilitation counselor and worked for an insurance company and eventually opened her own thriving private practice where she worked for eight years.
After moving to Southern California in 1998 with her daughter and ready for a change, Miranda started to dabble in the field of web design and development and found that she had a special knack for teaching herself HTML and working with code. As her natural ability began to grow, in 2006 she landed a position at CVCS as the Director of Communications. Her passion for learning and growing continued as she took on additional responsibilities as the database administrator, director of enrollment, and assistant to the head of schools.
Miranda lives in Mission Viejo with her husband Bryan, and together they have a blended family of five children who have all graduated from college. In 2018 their first granddaughter was born. Miranda is an active member of Union Church in San Clemente. For fun, she loves to spend time with family, ride her Peloton bike, go on Target runs, and try to keep her plants alive.
