Barbara Shaffner

Barbara’s educational achievements include graduating magna cum laude from Saddleback College earning an associate of arts degree and the University of La Verne with a bachelor of science degree in business administration. Prior to her current role at CVCS, she was the senior manager for KFT, LLC where she managed over 15 million in assets as well as overseeing various business sectors where her responsibilities included budgeting, financial management, staffing, and operations.

Barbara has been working at CVCS since 2004 and currently serves as the CFO and Business Manager of Operations. In her role, Barbara oversees a wide range of departments including finance, human resources, student billing, accounts payable, facilities, development, information technology, and food services. Barbara also serves on the executive committee for DeepRoots Bible Curriculum. 

Barbara is blessed to work in a ministry that contributes to the spiritual development of children, furthering the gospel of Jesus Christ. Barbara and her family have been part of the CVCS family since 1990. All four of her children attended CVCS and now four of her grandchildren are students as well.
