Kahlee Liesik

Director of Development

A transplant from Boise, Idaho, Kahlee was recruited to play for the three-time National Championship Women’s Soccer Team at Westmont College in Santa Barbara, CA. While at Westmont, she was the recipient of the Dr. David K. Winter Servant Leadership Award, threw for the Track and Field team, sang in the gospel choir, and served in leadership positions for ministries in Mexico with Potter’s Clay and locally at the Santa Barbara Juvenile Detention Center.

Kahlee’s career in development started at the Boys & Girls Club in San Clemente, CA, raising funds for its annual dinner and auction. After taking a job as the development officer for a petroleum company, she gifted over $1 million annually to organizations. Kahlee also has been a small business owner where she gained experience in marketing, community relations, angel investments, leveraged technology, and social media to advance her company. She has also served as a consultant, sat on advisory boards, and volunteered for many non-profit organizations, including Walking on Water, Ambassadors Football, Agua International, Bondi Ministries, Care and Kindness, The Boys & Girls Club, Kids Around the World, and Fish for Life.

Since joining the administrative team as the Director of Development in 2016, Kahlee fosters a community of generosity, inviting donors into the work the Lord is doing through CVCS. Her ability to lead the development department in raising the necessary funds for the school has allowed CVCS to build the Nest Conference Room and the Student Media Center, create a designated area for the performing arts department, renovate classroom spaces for the elementary and high school, build a high school science lab, an elementary STEM lab, and renovate space for new high school classrooms.

During the holidays, Kahlee and her husband travel globally to build playgrounds for children with Kids Around the World, where he serves as the Vice President of Operations. The couple also leads TEN: TEN, a ministry through The Shoreline Church in San Clemente, CA, encouraging and equipping young adults in their 20’s to live a rich and satisfying life (John 10:10).
