Mary de Haas
Mary was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, and moved to California after getting married to her California native husband, David. Mary worked in ICU/CCU after graduating from nursing school. Mary has enjoyed many roles at CVCS such as art masters mom, room mom, Friends of CVCS, etc. In 1998, Mary was hired as a teacher’s aide, and for 22 years she was content working as an aide in all grade levels while keeping up with her nursing license. In 2020 Mary was promoted to a full-time role as the school nurse.
Mary and David’s family started expanding and they had two daughters. After moving to San Juan Capistrano, their son was born. All three de Haas children attended CVCS and are lifers. Mary is blessed to be at a school where her daughters are also employed, and where three of her grandsons attend. Mary and her husband belong to several western groups like Wild West. Mary attends church at St. Edwards in Dana Point. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her grandchildren.
