Kamden Guy is a Southern California native and met her high school sweetheart at Dana Hills High School in Dana Point, California. Kamden’s never-ending love for Christian missions and travel has taken her to over 15 countries—her favorites being Jordan, Peru, and Spain. She also loved teaching in children’s ministry from a young age and knew she was being called to teach children.
Kamden attended Biola University where she majored in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in elementary education and minored in both Biblical Studies and Spanish. She continued her education there to complete her California teaching credential as well as her Master’s in Teaching.
Kamden specializes in teaching the lower elementary grades, and helped develop the Kindergarten GROW program in 2017 out of a desire to help develop 21st-century learners and hybrid traditional learning with STEM concepts and more hands-on experiences. Kamden is passionate about teaching young children to read and seeing them learn and develop a deeper understanding of God’s Word and His character.
Kamden currently resides in San Juan Capistrano with her husband, Micah and her two children, Merritt and Emery. Being a mom is one of her greatest joys. She also loves vegetable gardening, cooking new recipes and spending long, carefree days at the beach. If she could do anything it would include grand adventures of backpacking or hiking in God’s amazing creation.
