Marisa is a Southern California native who holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from UCLA. She moved to Orange County 24 years ago and has been involved with childcare for over 26 years. She has a passion for all children and love to see them grow in the love of play and our Lord.
Marisa has been the Extended Care, Enrichment Programming, Summer Camp Director and JK Lunch Bunch supervisor at CVCS since 2005. Prior to joining CVCS, she worked for nine years in the same capacity at another local Christian school. Her vision is to provide a positive, safe, and nurturing environment where children can learn and grow. Marisa continues to be excited and inspired about working in an environment that emphasizes a sense of belonging and well-being for all children.
When she is not at work, you can find Marisa walking her dog Ellie at the beach or teaching the Sunday kids service at her home church. She has a son Kyle and two fur children—dog Ellie Grace and kitty Oliver George.
