Rebecca Hodson

Director Vocal Performing Arts

Rebecca Leftwich Hodson is passionate about teaching students to sing and perform while cultivating an understanding of beauty, creativity and reflecting the image of God.  
 
Ms. Hodson received a BA in music from Westmont and a Master of Music in choral conducting and vocal pedagogy from University of Colorado, Boulder. In 2016 Ms. Hodson was honored with the “Excellence in Education” Award presented by Westmont College.
 
As an educator for over 35 years in both the private and public school settings, Ms. Hodson has most recently served as the Director of the Performing Arts at Providence Christian School in Santa Barbara.  Additionally, from 1996 to 2010 she taught as an adjunct professor of music at Westmont College teaching private voice, vocal pedagogy and conducting a variety of choral ensembles.  

Ms. Hodson joined the faculty of CVCS as the Director of Vocal and Performing Arts in 2018 and is thrilled to be working with CVCS students developing their gifts and creating an encouraging and supportive community.
