Custom2: 2020

Mrs. Mikayla Mullins has been teaching second grade at CVCS since 2020. Before taking on her role as a second grade teacher she was the third grade aid and a long term substitute in Kindergarten at CVCS. Before teaching, Mrs. Mullins won the student teacher of the year award and was also awarded Cum Laude Honors. Mrs. Mullins finds great joy in teaching at a Christian school where she can bring all of her lessons back to Jesus. She runs her class like a family where students work together, believe in each other, and love one another. She is passionate about small group centers where students can receive direct and differentiated instruction based on their learning style and academic level. She especially enjoys teaching math and reading groups!

Mrs. Mullins lives in Rancho Santa Margarita with her husband and daughter. Before teaching, she was a youth pastor at Saddleback Church and loves leading small groups for youth. She finds joy in watching them put their faith into action and walk with the Lord. When she isn’t teaching, you can find Mrs. Mullins at the beach, on a run, or eating frozen yogurt!
