Mr. Scot Burbank hails from St. Petersburg, Florida. He experienced a nomadic youth, living in Florida, Georgia, Scotland, and Spain. Travels in his early years imbued Scot with a sense of adventure, a fascination with cultures, and an insatiable appetite for learning language.

Scot attended Georgia Tech, where he studied international affairs with an emphasis in Foreign Language. In 2002, he entered the ministry, and served as a youth pastor in suburban Atlanta. Scot was ordained as a pastor in 2005. 

Scot and his wife Sarah moved to California in 2006 where he earned a Masters in Theological Studies at Gateway Seminary. Prior to joining the CVCS family, Scot taught Spanish, English, Speech, Apologetics, Life Calling, Stewardship, and Leadership for 10 years at Whittier Christian High School. He also worked in Biola University’s Ministry Outreach department.

Mr. Burbank and his wife have three children. Together they love to hike, travel, read, and watch movies.
