Rebecca Salcedo
Rebecca Salcedo joins the CVCS family in 2020 after eight years as a homeschooling teacher through the Classical Conversations community. Before homeschooling, she taught one year of second grade at Calvary Christian School in Pacific Palisades and second grade for five years at Will Rogers Learning Community in Santa Monica. Mrs. Salcedo considers it her joy and privilege to create a Christ-centered classroom filled with academic rigor, critical thinking, and clear expectations. It is her passion to teach the Bible and Writer’s Workshop to her young students. She also excels at differentiating math instruction and implementing learning centers for each curricular area. When students are in her classroom, they are consistently challenged and always loved.
Rebecca lives in Dana Point with her husband and their four children. She loves leading Bible studies and was involved with the MOPS organization at Calvary Church of Pacific Palisades for ten years. Rebecca also finds great joy encouraging women in their walks with Jesus and hosting a monthly IF:Table. When she isn’t teaching or watching her children play soccer, you can find her walking her dogs, practicing yoga, or playing at the beach with her family.
