Dr. Heidi Zameni attended California State University Fullerton and received her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in English. She successfully defended her Ph.D. from Claremont Graduate University, where she studied American and British Literature.
Dr. Zameni previously worked at CVCS as the Director of International Students/ELD and began and directed that program from inception. She also served on the school board as a trustee for many years. She taught high school at CVCS for two years before moving on to higher education—a field that she has worked in for years. She has recently taught English at U.C. Irvine, Vanguard University, Saddleback College, and California Baptist University.
She is excited to return to high school with a desire to prepare students for the college years and encourage them to achieve their goals. She believes that faith is an integral part of learning. Being able to discuss spiritual concepts and apply those to situations students face during high school is something that she values. In her curriculum, she incorporates a Christian worldview and challenges her students to think likewise.
