Biography:

Mr. Finley earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University, where he also played lacrosse and ice hockey for the Mustangs. His career in finance and consulting included positions at Deloitte, CBRE, and several private equity firms, where he specialized in market analytics and modeling asset pricing strategies for acquisition teams.

Mr. Finley first discovered his passion for teaching and mentoring young people as a lacrosse coach.  He has spent the past 15 years on the sidelines leading high school programs in Texas and California.

In the midst of dramatic changes in the global economy and education, Mr. Finley felt called to enter the teaching profession full time.  After obtaining a Master's Degree in Education at Concordia University, Irvine, he developed and led the business academy at Orange Lutheran High School.  He feels strongly that every student should be introduced to the foundations of business and entrepreneurship while still in high school within the context of God’s unique plan for each of our lives and those we work alongside. He joined the CVCS team in 2021 and currently serves as the high school entrepreneurial leadership director and high school business teacher.

Mr. Finley and his wife have four children.  The Finley family currently reside in Rancho Mission Viejo.
