
Mr. Zachary Gipson
Mr. Zachary Gipson is a native of the Kansas City metropolitan area. He grew up in a family that championed the importance of education and was blessed to attend outstanding schools. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, KS; a Master of Divinity in Theology and Worship Ministries from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary; and completed coursework for his California Single Subject Teaching Credential in Social Science through California Baptist University. Mr. Gipson completed a Master of Arts in History degree from Fort Hays State University in May 2023.
Since 2015, Mr. Gipson has worked in Christian schools throughout Southern California, teaching students in grades 7 through 12 and instructing courses in the US, AP World, and AP European History, AP US Government and Politics, Economics, Bible, and music. He has enhanced the education students receive by planning and leading student travel experiences, retreats and field trips. Mr. Gipson has also coached high school debate and student worship teams. Before entering the educational profession, he served as an associate pastor of worship and youth, as a missionary to South America and performed extensively as a musician. He joined the CVCS team in 2021 and serves as a high school social science teacher.
Mr. Gipson, his wife and children enjoy spending time outside hiking in the mountains and going to the beach, traveling, hosting and cooking for friends and family, and cheering for the Green Bay Packers and the Kansas City Royals. He is an avid reader and enjoys smoking meats, especially in the tradition of his hometown, Kansas City.
