Mrs. Jasper’s love for music began in fourth grade when she learned to play the clarinet from her first music teacher, her mom! Soon she set her sights on becoming a music teacher herself, eventually earning a Bachelor’s of Music in Music Education and a California teaching credential in music from Biola University.
Throughout her six years of teaching experience in both private and public school settings, Mrs. Jasper has loved the particular type of excitement, wonder, and joy that can only be found in the elementary music classroom. In that time, she taught kindergarten through sixth-grade music, including band, recorder, violin, and general music classes. Along with her music classes at CVCS, Mrs. Jasper will lead the elementary chapel worship and create the school’s first elementary band ensemble.
When she is not teaching, Mrs. Jasper loves going to coffee shops, playing bass in her church worship band, and conspiring with her husband to spoil their niece and nephews!
