Miss Jo Ann Taylor
Ms. Taylor always loved learning and teaching, so education was a career she always felt called to. In high school, Ms. Taylor had the privilege of going on a mission trip to El Salvador, and through this experience she gained a heart for serving others through Christ. She plans to carry that same heart into her classroom. Ms. Taylor’s main goal as an educator is to help her students feel the love of Christ while developing an interest in science. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from California Lutheran University where she also played on the women’s tennis team. She completed her teaching credential and Masters of Education through Concordia University, Irvine. Ms. Taylor has had a variety of teaching experiences with students at various age levels, ranging from preschool all the way through junior college.
In her free time, Ms. Taylor loves playing sports, going on hikes, and reading. Her most recent sports of interest have been skiing and pickleball. Given her broad range of interests, Ms. Taylor looks forward to supporting students in their extracurricular interests as well.
