Mrs. Long is passionate about working with students to foster a love for reading and writing. Grounding her approach in a biblical worldview, she leverages literature as a tool to develop Christ followers who are also exceptional critical thinkers. Mrs. Long strives to create a highly engaging classroom environment, often utilizing innovative pedagogical methods and integrating technology into the learning process. 

In her previous role, she worked as an English Specialist at a public school in Southern California. Prior to that, Mrs. Long lived in Dallas, Texas with her family, where she taught English at Liberty Christian School. 

Along with her passion for teaching, Mrs. Long enjoys writing children’s stories and hopes to publish her stories one day. She also enjoys spending time at the beach and having fun adventures with her sons and husband.
