2025–2026 School Year
Our applications for the 2025-2026 school year are now open! Our priority application deadline is January 15, 2025.

January 15, 2025: Priority Application Deadline. Applications received by this date will have the first round of consideration for any openings after re-enrollment ends for current families on January 28. Admissions decisions go out starting January 31, 2025.

Any applications received after the deadline will be handled on a first come first serve basis for any remaining spaces.

Waiting Pool Information: We are accepting students to waiting pools once grades fill to capacity. These pools are not lists so we will not be able to provide a numerical position in our waiting pool. When space opens in a grade, we will select students who are the best fit and contact you immediately regarding enrollment.

CVCS is an academically rigorous institution. Please note: our RISE program is not an intervention service. It offers accommodations for students with minimal learning challenges. Space is limited and is subject to availability. For more information about RISE, click here.

Step 1: Complete Online Application
During the application form process, you will be prompted to upload some relevant documentation. Please have these digital files and emails ready to expedite the submission of your online application.
Documentation Needed:
K–3rd grade:
- birth certificate
- *immunization record printed from the pediatrician's office within the past 90 days. (no yellow cards or stamped cards, etc will be accepted)
- email of one teacher reference (They will receive an email directly from our online application system.)
- two years of most recent report cards
4–6th grade:
- birth certificate
- *immunization record printed from the pediatrician's office within the past 90 days. (no yellow cards or stamped cards, etc will be accepted)
- email of one teacher reference (They will receive an email directly from our online application system.)
- two years of most recent report cards
- most recent standardized testing
7–12th grade:
- birth certificate
- *immunization record printed from the pediatrician's office within the past 90 days. (no yellow cards or stamped cards, etc will be accepted)
- emails for Math, English, and administrator references (They will receive an email directly from our online application system.)
- email of student applicant (The student applicant must submit an essay through the online application form about why they would like to attend Capistrano Valley Christian Schools.)
- two years of most recent report cards or transcript
- most recent standardized testing
- ninth grade only: HSPT test scores
*IMMUNIZATION SCHEDULE
All immunizations must be up to date in order to be considered for admissions and are required of all children attending a California school. As of 0/01/2021, we will not admit any students with a written medical exemption waiver.
The following vaccines are required for school entry:

Step 2: Assessment and Family Interview
If selected to proceed in the application process, our admissions office will contact you to schedule a family interview and/or assessment if necessary. If you are not selected, you will be notified by email.
Attention Ninth Grade Applicants:
All applicants are required to take the High School Placement Test (HSPT). You may sign up for one of the two dates offered at our school (1/18/2025 or 2/1/2025), or you may take it at another school and submit your test result to us. The HSPT will be used to help determine course placement, and can also be used to determine academic readiness for our high school. After your ninth grade application is submitted, you will receive a follow-up email regarding more information on the HSPT.
