Football - Players honored at recent football banquet!

Eagle players were honored at the recent football banquet held at the CVCS Worship center in an outstanding event that featured a catered dinner, player recognition, awards, and a creative slide show and highlight video put on by recent CVCS graduate, Liz Babick. Football - All League players announced!

Our boys varsity football team had 5 players honored as All San Joaquin League players as selected by the league's head coaches. Jack Roberts and Colin Thornton were selected to the 1st team while Trey Henry and Keston Kajitani were selected to the 2nd team. Ryan Hazzard was also selected as an Honorable Mention all league performer.

Girls Basketball rallies to defeat Brethren Christian!

The Lady Eagles bounced back from their loss to St. Margaret's last week and beat Brethren Christian 39-29 in front of a packed CVCS gym Tuesday evening. Lydia Samuelsen, Faith Kiernan and Jessica Wilson combined for 32 points, 30 rebounds and 19 steals. Riley Dungan and Noelle Rutz played pivotal roles with their strong and pesky defensive efforts against Brethren's top scorers. The Eagles improve their record to 3-1 on the season. The next game is an away game Friday, December 15 vs. Sage Hill who has a 4-4 record.

Boys Basketball victorious over Norte Vista, 72 - 43!

Our boys basketball team was victorious, 72 - 43, over Norte Vista in pool play of the St. Margaret's tournament on Thursday night. Troy Kihm led the way as he poured in 25 points while also securing 8 rebounds. Paul Stache added 13 points to go along with 5 rebounds and 6 steals while freshman Hayden Cook added 8 points for the Eagles. The boys end the St. Margaret's tournament versus St. Margaret's at 3 pm on Saturday, Dec. 9 at the St. Margaret's gymnasium.
