Volunteer Opportunities, November 2019 to January 2020

It’s hard to believe we are already moving through the fall and into our holiday activities at CVCS. We have some exciting opportunities to jump in and get involved with our school. Below is a short description of the exciting events coming up in November and December. Please click on the links below to view the volunteer opportunities.

 

Grab a Bite Night: Blaze Pizza 

November 20 Please join the families of CVCS to give back to our school while enjoying a meal with your family. Two locations to choose from:

  • 225 W Avenida Vista Hermosa Suite A, San Clemente, CA 92672

 

Student Thanksgiving Feast: 

November 22 CVCS will celebrate Thanksgiving with a feast for all students JK-12.

December 4 Please join the families of CVCS to give back to our school while enjoying a meal with your family.

 

Ladies Luncheon: 

Friday, December 6, 2019  11 AM - 1:30 PM

Join us at the Plaza Magdalena in San Juan Capistrano for food and fellowship with the wonderful ladies of CVCS. Our speaker this year will be CVCS parent Traci Randall.

CVCS Teachers & Staff Christmas Party: 

December 6 The Head of schools is throwing our lovely staff a Christmas party. We will need donation items listed in the link below. Thank you for helping make our staff party a huge success!

Elementary Christmas Boutique: 

December 10 Our PACE team will set up a Christmas “store” for our elementary students to shop for small handmade gifts for their family members. The gifts are made by the students in their classrooms during the weeks leading up to the boutique! It is a magical day!

Elementary Christmas Service Project:

December 19 Our elementary students will pack 15,000 meals with the organization Kids Around the World. This is a great Christmas event for our students to “give back.”

Eagles Kitchen Helping Hands: 

Chef Baird has requested parents volunteers to aid during the lunch rush each day. Click on the link below to sign up and you will be contacted by the kitchen with more details.

Moms in Prayer: 

Every Tuesday in Room 124 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.

 A weekly gathering of CVCS women who pray for our school, faculty, students, and families. For more information contact prayer@cvcs.org  

 

Women’s Bible Study: 

Look for details about the study and start date of our women’s Bible study in the next PACE communication
