Mrs. Sarah Spencer, Junior High English and Bible Teacher
Mrs. Sarah Spencer graduated from Vanguard University of Southern California with a Bachelor’s Degree in Theater Arts. She completed her teaching credential in Social Studies at Vanguard and her teaching credential in English at the University of California, Riverside. She has spent the last two years as a substitute teacher for Capistrano Unified School District while raising her two daughters, both under the age of two, at home. Mrs. Spencer is on the teaching team for Women’s Bible Study at her church. Writing curriculum and teaching the Bible has been a long time passion for her. She has spoken at youth retreats about God’s calling, life’s purpose and body image. She spent several years mentoring youth, serving as a high school and junior high leader. Mrs. Spencer believes that all good literature reveals the human condition and naturally points to God. She is excited for the silly and deep conversations that are going to happen with her students that will ultimately expand their critical thinking skills and build their faith foundation so they are prepared for life after school.
