Connection and Collaboration

Harkness Tables and small group layouts at CVCS are designed to foster active participation and engagement from every student. The Harkness Table, a large oval table, allows all members of the class, including the teacher, to see and connect with one another, promoting equal opportunity for discussion and collaboration. This setup ensures that no student is left out or can disengage, creating an inclusive and dynamic learning environment. Similarly, small group layouts further encourage teamwork, creativity, and shared problem-solving, ensuring every voice is heard and valued in the learning process.
