Mikaela Cox is graduating at the top of the class of 2022 with a 4.2 GPA. She will be attending Texas A & M College Station in the fall. Mikaela was accepted into the Mays Business School which is ranked #22 as the best business school in America by US News and World Report.
Quinn Merrick is graduating at the top of the class of 2022 with a 4.3 GPA. She will be attending Texas A & M College Station in the fall. Quinn will be double majoring in education and psychology. She was accepted into the school of education and received the Maroon Merit Scholarship.
Marilyn McCain has been offered early acceptance to UC Berkeley and is awaiting offers from other colleges. Marilyn is graduating at the top of the Class of 2022 with a total 4.4 GPA and an academic 4.6 GPA. Marilyn is a candidate for the Regents’ and Chancellor’s Scholarship, the most prestigious scholarship offered by UC Berkeley to entering undergraduate students.
At CVCS, Marilyn has competed in cross country, soccer, and softball. She has utilized her leadership skills as a member of our student leadership team, serving as the senior class vice president and previously as the junior class vice president. Marilyn is also a member of the California Scholastic Federation and the National Honor Society.
Tyler Roberts is graduating at the top of the class of 2022 with a 4.3 GPA. He will be attending the University of Alabama on a full-ride scholarship. He received the top academic scholarship of $24,000 and an ROTC scholarship. Out of 10,000 ROTC applicants, Tyler was one of 1200 chosen out of the entire nation who won a four-year ROTC scholarship. Tyler has attended CVCS since the eighth grade and competed on the baseball team all four years. He is a member of the California Scholastic Federation and the National Honor Society at CVCS.
