Junior High
Becoming. Belonging. Believing.
At CVCS Junior High, we understand the challenges of the middle school years — balancing growing independence with structure, maintaining academic focus, and navigating social changes. Our caring, godly teachers provide mentorship and guidance, helping students develop organization, accountability, and personal responsibility. Through a Christ-centered environment and an excellent education, we partner with families to equip students for a life of service and leadership. With a rigorous curriculum and supportive community, students are empowered to explore new ideas, meet academic challenges, and build a strong foundation for future success.
The junior high years are often regarded as some of the most difficult years of people’s lives, but they don’t have to be. We believe that with loving guidance, rigorous opportunities, and the grace of God, the junior high years can be an incredible launchpad to a bright and meaningful future.

Becoming. Belonging. Believing.
At CVCS, students are discipled in a Christ-centered environment where their faith in Jesus is nurtured and strengthened. Through intentional mentorship, biblical teaching, and a community of believers, they grow in their understanding of God’s truth, develop a personal relationship with Christ, and discover their God-given purpose and potential. As they learn to live out their faith, they gain the confidence to impact the world for His glory—becoming who they are called to be, belonging to a Christ-centered community, and believing in the plans God has for their future.
Adventure Awaits: Exploring, Growing, and Thriving in Junior High
The Adventure Club in Junior High is a one-of-a-kind experience that takes students beyond the classroom and into the great outdoors. Each year, seventh and eighth graders embark on unforgettable trips to incredible destinations like Joshua Tree, Zion National Park, Kelso Dunes and Valley of Fire State Park, and San Elijo State Beach. They camp under the stars, cook their own meals, hike through breathtaking landscapes, surf along the California coast, and build lasting friendships through shared challenges and adventures. This hands-on, immersive program fosters resilience, teamwork, and a love for God’s creation—an experience like no other. And the adventure doesn’t stop here!
See how students continue to grow, explore, and thrive.
